Former Kano State governor and senator, Ibrahim Shekarau, has formally received his membership card of the All Progressives Congress (APC), marking his official return to the ruling party.

Shekarau recieved his card at his constituency and ward in Ginginyu in Nassarawa local government area of the state, where the symbolic presentation of the membership card took place amid a large gathering of party faithful.

He was accompanied by the Kano State governor Abba Yusuf, and other key political figures, including the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, and other prominent party stakeholders.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shekarau expressed appreciation for the warm reception and support extended to him by party members, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening the APC both in Kano State and across the country.
