Shell Nigeria Gas MD, Oyo, NMDPRA Advance Gas Infrastructure Push

Shell Nigeria Gas (SNG) managing Director, Ralph Gbobo, alongside Oyo State officials and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), have held pivotal discussions to propel gas infrastructure development.

During a courtesy visit to NMDPRA chief executive, Saidu Mohammed, in Abuja, the stakeholders deliberated on expanding domestic gas utilisation, upgrading pipeline networks, and fostering public-private investments, information on the NMDPRA’s X handle indicated.

The talks emphasised regulatory reforms to curb gas flaring, boost supply to regional industries, and support Oyo State’s energy goals.

This collaborative push aligns with Nigeria’s broader strategy for energy security and economic diversification through enhanced midstream and downstream capabilities.
