He also advised them to project the image of the country positively to the outer world.

In his address, the pro-chancellor and chairman of the Governing Council, University of Ilorin, Abiodun Aluko, urged the graduands to be of good behaviour.

He thanked the federal government and other stakeholders for their contributions to the development of education in the country.

The vice chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof Wahab Egbewole (SAN), advised the graduands to rise to become the agents of transformation required in the country.

He said the institution has produced graduands who were well trained to navigate the world and become employers of labour, as well as ambassadors of excellence.

Egbewole said the university produced 316 first class graduands out of the 13,868 that will be graduating during its 40th convocation ceremonies within the week.
