Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka aka Ruger, has denounced loyalty to any godfather noting that the year 2024 “is about me”.
Ruger made the declaration, in a new freestyle song Blownboy posted on his Instagram page a few days after his exit from Jonzing World Record Label owned by D’Prinze, Maverick Records founder and musician’s brother, Don Jazzy.
“I denounce every loyalty to some godfather, this year I’m about me,” Ruger said in his February 6, 2024.
Blownboy was released under Ruger’s own label Blownboy Entertainment, and further heralded his attempt at reconciling with music colleagues he has fought with in the past.
“I’m now settling with the ones I fought with. I’m not fighting all the n*ggas I f*ucked with,” Ruger declared in his latest song released on YouTube on February 9, 2024.
Daily Post that the singer had been involved in a couple of industry beefs including his rivalry with his colleague, BNXN, formerly known as Buju. Ruger’s beef with BNXN began on social media and skyrocketed after BNXN defeated Ruger to clinch the Next Rated Award at the 2022 Headies Awards.
