Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has confirmed reports about an attempted kidnap of her.

In a statement issued on Friday via her verified Instagram account, it was disclosed that on Thursday, April 13, 2023, there was a major security breach at her residence in Lagos.
A number of suspects were apprehended and are currently being investigated at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.
Several celebrities including Dorathy Bachor, Toyin Abraham, Manny Monie, amongst others, have expressed safety concerns towards the singer.
