The Chief Executive Officer of Skyewise Group, Dr. Elvis Abuyere, has urged members of the public to exercise caution and be wary of criminal elements defrauding people of their hard-earned money.

This follows the avalanche of calls and messages he has received following the activities of one Mr. Elvis who calls himself a crypto specialist and property agent engaging in suspicious activities.

In a statement on Friday, Dr. Abuyere said he has no link with the individual and has no form of business deal with him either on a personal basis or through his business brand.

He said, “I have been inundated with calls, text messages and emails from concerned friends and associates who have reached out to inquire my relationship with the individual.

“I want to category state that my name is Dr. Elvis Abuyere, the CEO Skyewise Group, a brand that specializes in auto, investment and array of charity campaigns.

“We are not into Crypto and have no immediate plan to venture into it. We were also informed from a reliable source that unsuspecting members of the public had mistaken him for Dr. Elvis Abuyere and thus, invested their hard-earned resources into his pool of scam.

“For the avoidance of doubt, Dr. Elvis Abuyere and Skyewise Group seriously frown at swindling people of their hard-earned money through false pretence and would not under any circumstance condone such.

“While we sympathise with those who have lost their resources through fraudulent activities, we want to implore members of the public to exercise caution in parting with their resources especially in ventures they are not convinced about.”

He reiterated the readiness of his organisation to jealously guard its long-standing reputation, appealing to clients within and outside Nigeria to keep faith with it as integrity and honesty remain its watchword.
