SnowLions FC To Battle 12Strong FC For Merrybet 5Stars Premier League Title

Southern champion SnowLion FC would battle Northern champions 12 Strong FC for the national final of Merrybet 5Stars Premier League Reboot Season.

The 2022 campaign which coincides with the league organiser’s expansion drive of the yearly futsal event yesterday saw SnowLions Fc of Lekki district emerge champions and sole representative of the Southern Region in the National Final after they defeated the previously unbeaten ISabiPlay FC 3-1 in a keenly contested and exciting Lagos finale at Meadow Hall Lekki Phase 1.

With seven grueling weeks which saw 127 goals scored with 16 teams battling each other for the sole ticket to the nationals, all participating teams and partners involved in the maiden edition in Lagos can be pleased with themselves for a successful season.

The Lagos champions Snowlions Fc are now set to slug it out with the Northern region winners 12Strong FC of Abuja to determine who will emerge as the first ever National League winners at the Illaji Sports Resort, Ibadan on October 1st Independence Day in what promises to be an epoch and tantalizing clash in the ancient city.

With all eyes fixed for the coming weekend, Oyo state will also witness the maiden edition of the Independence Cup, a mini-tourney for Ibadan-based grassroot sides to compete, win cash prizes, add colour and glam to the main event. It’s all systems go where champions play, as history looks set to be made this Saturday.
