Addressing journalists in Kaduna at a meeting of political appointees from the local government, Chairman of the stakeholders and serving Commissioner for public works and infrastructure in Kaduna State, Hon Ibrahim Hamza, said both President Tinubu and Governor Sani have done well, hence their endorsement for reelection come 2027.

For him, there have been so many achievements from this administration, and the Soba local government has never had it this good since returning to democracy, stressing that they are presently seeing the physical dividends of democracy.

“We thank the governor for all he has been doing for Soba. We are very proud of what he is doing. We have been included in his administration, and we are glad that all the good tidings and support we have given APC in Soba to ensure he wins have come to reality.

„I take pride in standing before you today to say that in the last 23 months, Soba has been one of the state‘s most beneficial local governments, especially in rural infrastructural development.

„We are especially aware of the roads that have commenced from Dingya to Tarawa. We also know the skill acquisition centre to empower both women and men. You are also mindful of the water scheme going on in Soba. Residents of Tudun Feku, Maigana, and Soba can bear witness to the fact that it has been completed.

The transformers, transmission, and reservoir issues have been completed. We are working on distribution. In the next three months, at the end of the second quarter, about 1500 households in Soba will benefit from pipe-borne water. That has already been concluded, and the remaining thing is the connection. We will work with the LGA authority to ensure the water runs nonstop.

„On the small town water scheme, you are aware that we selected two wards in Soba, which are Fasala ward and Danwata ward, two of them will benefit from the small town water scheme and will be concluded by the 3rd quarter of 2025“.

In the security, he disclosed that the chairman of Soba LGa was in Zaria command to thank them for their intervention. He added that security is one area that has achieved significant improvement in terms of the Soba Council, and we thank the governor for that.

Also, in health, we have a general hospital in Maigana that will soon be completed. I thanked the Governor for his kindness to the people of Soba Local Government.

„With this, the stakeholders in the Soba local government area unanimously endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani for continuity beyond 2027.

Also corroborating the position, the immediate past Chief of Staff to the Governor and now Executive Chairman of Soba local government area, Hon. Mohammad Lawal Shehu, said, „On behalf of Soba Council, we wish to express our profound gratitude to Governor Uba Sani for the developmental infrastructures and projects taken to Soba.

„We have a skill acquisition centre in Soba, Maigana hospital, which he has upgraded to a general hospital. Then there are so many road projects. We have PHCs which have been renovated. Then we have other monetary incentives for financial inclusion enjoyed by women, among others.

He also commended the governor for giving sons and daughters of the Soba local government great opportunities in his cabinet.

„We are reiterating our firm belief in his administration. Soba is 100 percent for Tinubu and Uba Sani. We do not have a space for any man, whether on a horse, camel or rabbit,“ he stressed.
