Sokoto Gov-elect Appoints Press Secretary

Sokoto State governor -elect, Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, has appointed Abubakar Bawa as Director of Press Affairs, Government House Sokoto.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary, Transition Committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Dadi Adire and made available to newsmen.

Bawa, a former staff of the NTA Sokoto Network center will take full charge of publicizing state Government policies and programs.

The governor -elect however, has congratulated Bawa on his new appointment while urging him to redouble efforts in the task ahead.

The Governor-elect prayed to Allah to grant the new Director of Press, the courage and wisdom to improve to a larger scale the image of the incoming administration in its quest to transform the state.
