He explained that he met the suspect  while he (Teslim) was on his way to the mosque near their house on the day the suspect killed his mother but ignored him.

“I thought he was trying to perpetrate his stealing attitude again, my major focus that period was to join in performing the Juma’at prayer

“As I was returning from the Juma’at prayer, I saw the suspect washing his hands outside our house and immediately he sighted me he ran away,” Teslim said.

He added that it was when he entered the house that he met his mother in her pool of blood and raised an alarm.

Teslim said it was then he shouted that the suspect had killed his mother, saying that while they were interrogating him they noticed blood stains on his slippers.
