‘Alafia’ is a modern reinterpretation of brandy’s 2002 hit, ‘Full Moon,’ infused with a fresh, vibrant sound that celebrates resilience and peace.

‘Alafia’ delves into themes of personal growth and overcoming past love troubles. Me.Tai’s soulful vocals narrate a tale of learning lessons from a hurting situation, while embracing a positive, uplifting outlook.

The term ‘Alafia’ is Yoruba for good health or peace, perfectly encapsulating the song’s message of moving forward with grace and strength. Produced by the talented double act Sons of Sonix, the track stands out as the leading single from their upcoming project.

Nigerian British-born pair, Sons of Sonix, comprised of Mikey Akin and Moses Samuels, have made significant strides in the music industry over the past 13 years. They have firmly established themselves as a powerhouse producer duo, recently transitioning to creating their own music. SoS are celebrated for their innovative production style and genre-blending sound. Their impressive track record includes producing hits and collaborating with global superstars Like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Wretch 32, Melanie C, and Stormzy. They continue to push the boundaries of music, solidifying their reputation as trailblazers in the industry.
