This is even as it berated the Court of Appeal for its conflicting judgement against the NNPP and the governor of Kano State, Abba Kabiru Yusuf, and pledged its total support for the governor.

These were contained in a communique issued at the end of the party’s zonal executive and stakeholders meeting held in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

In the eight-point communique signed by the national vice chairman, South-South zone, Emmanuel Nwabrije, the NNPP reaffirmed the dissolution of the Abba Kawu Ali-led National Working Committee (NWC).

The South-South executive committee and stakeholders also reaffirmed the expulsion of Senator Kwankwaso.

The party recognised and released the names of state chairmen of the zone to include Ayoro Paradise (Delta), John Agbaje (Edo), Harry Richard (Rivers), Joseph Eshiet Eshiet (Akwa Ibom) and Austin Asuquo (Cross River).
