Southwest Govs, Dangote For Owa Haastrup’s Coronation

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and other Southwest governors, are expected to grace the coronation of His Imperial Majesty, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III, as the Owa Obokun Adimula and paramount ruler of Ijesaland in Osun State.

The Ajirowa of Ijesaland and vice chairman of the coronation committee, High Chief Lateef Bakare, revealed while giving an update on the event that a number of ministers have also signified their intention to attend the event slated for Friday, May 23, 2025.

He said business czars who have confirmed their attendance are the president and chief executive of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and billionaire businessman, Mr Femi Otedola and other dignitaries across the globe.

Bakare enthused that Ijesaland is set to receive the world for the historic moment adding that all hands are on deck to ensure a hitch-free coronation ceremony.

“We are ready. We are doing everything humanly possible to ensure that all our guests enjoy the best of Ijesa hospitality. We will not disappoint our governor; we shall not disappoint Nigerians, and the world. We will have a spectacular coronation ceremony by the grace of God,” Bakare assured.
