Women In Music is open to all female artistes – singers, songwriters, rappers, poets, music producers, music managers etc., of all ages, providing them a platform to develop their musical skills, as well as the opportunity to learn from experienced music professional how to be successful in a male-dominated industry.

Organized by Altem and funded the Spanish Agency for International Development (AECID), the bootcamp is the first of a series of planned events targeted at training and empowering professionals in Nigeria’s cultural sector, as a means of contributing to the nation’s achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It will train female participants on how to design and manage creative music projects, access funds for projects as artistes, grow their personal brand, marketing and networking skills and space. They will be taught, guided and equipped with the necessary tools and strategies needed to be successful as women in the Nigerian music industry.
