Marvel has dropped a brand-new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and it’s giving fans plenty to talk about. Bigger action, familiar faces, and a strange new twist for Peter Parker are all packed into the latest sneak peek. Picking up four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter is now living completely alone after the world forgot who he is. With no friends, no family, and no one remembering his past, he’s thrown himself into being New York’s full-time Spider-Man.
But this time, the enemy isn’t just another supervillain.
The trailer reveals Peter is undergoing a mysterious mutation that’s changing his body. After waking up tangled in his own webs, he turns to Bruce Banner for help, joking, “I didn’t know you could get that big.” As the mutation worsens, Peter asks if there’s a way to eliminate the bad parts while retaining the good. Banner’s response leaves fans with more questions than answers: “How would you decide what parts of nature are good or bad?”
Things quickly spiral as Peter realises he’s the only person who can sense an invisible threat taking over New York. And with no one else aware of the danger, the responsibility falls squarely on his shoulders. The trailer also delivers some major Marvel moments. Hulk is back in smashing form, Punisher offers Peter his trademark no-nonsense pep talk, and Daredevil returns to fight alongside the friendly neighbourhood hero.
There’s also an emotional glimpse of Peter saving MJ, who still has no memory of the life they once shared after the heartbreaking events of No Way Home. Alongside returning favourites, the film introduces new faces whose roles are still under wraps, adding even more mystery to what’s shaping up to be one of Marvel’s biggest releases of the year.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day promises high-stakes action, emotional twists, and what many fans believe could be the beginning of a brand-new Spider-Man trilogy. The countdown is officially on, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day swinging into cinemas on July 31, 2026.
