Sporting Dream Crown FCT FA Division One League Champions

Sporting Dream FC have been crowned 2023/24 FCT FA League champions after 2-0 win over New Dawn in their final match of the Super 4 Finals at Area 3 Football Pitch on saturday.

The 2-0 victory ensured Sporting Dream finished top of the Super 4 playoff with seven points on a superior goals difference ahead of second placed Future Guarantee FC who also have seven points from three matches.

Speaking to news after the presentation of prize and trophy to the victorious team, chairman of the FCT League Committee, Barrister Babatunde Bucknor, said Sporting Dream FC will be assisted by the FCT FA to excel in NLO Division 2 Play off .

“We are happy with the turn out of football fans and stakeholders. The four teams emerged from various centres. A total of 16 clubs participated in the league and at the end, Sporting Dream came top as champions. As FA, we will support the team to represent FCT well in the NLO,” Bucknor said.

The victorious coach, Katu Muhammed, attributed his side’s success to hard work, consistency and discipline.
