Popular Nigerian comedian, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, better known as Brain Jotter, has challenged the popular belief in “karma,” admitting that an ex-girlfriend who left him for a wealthier man is now more successful than ever.

The content creator revealed that after his former partner dumped him during his struggling days, he told her she would never find someone like him. However, he confirmed that the woman eventually moved to the United States, married a “more handsome” man, and now co-owns a successful company.

“I realised something important: people will hurt you and still move on without consequences,” Brain Jotter stated. He noted that while he was heartbroken and angry, his ex was busy building a life that includes American citizen children and a thriving business.

The comedian warned his followers against “sitting around” hoping for the downfall of those who mistreated them or refused to help them in the past. He argued that focusing on an ex-partner’s life is a waste of time, as they are likely to keep progressing regardless of the pain they caused.
