Sultan Confers Traditional Title On Ex-Minister, Pantami

A former minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, has been honoured with the prestigious title of ‘Majidadin Daular Usmaniyya’ by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III.

Abubakar conferred the title on the ex-minister during the esteemed Danfodiyo Week 2024 held in Sokoto recently.

Chairman social media team of the former minister, Babangida Usman Remeh disclosed this in a press release issued to our correspondent yesterday.

The media team described the honour as a testament to Pantami’s enduring commitment to national service adding that the recognition would inspire him.

“This royal honour is a testament to Professor Pantami’s enduring commitment to progress, excellence, and service to the nation. As Majidadin Daular Usmaniyya, he now holds a significant title that further underscores his dedication to leadership, education, and innovation within our society,” he said in the statement.
