Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited has secured investment grade credit ratings from two Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) -regulated agencies, as it scales Nigeria’s non-oil exports, with over 200,000 metric tonnes of cocoa and 60,000 metric tonnes of cashew shipped since 2017.
Agusto & Co. assigned an A2 short-term and Bbb long-term rating. In a separate, first-time assessment dated July 9, 2026, Intelligence Africa assigned a BBB+.NG long-term issuer rating and an A2 short-term rating, with a Stable Outlook.
Intelligence Africa said the ratings reflect Sunbeth’s position among Nigeria’s non-oil exporters and cited the company’s foreign-currency earnings, integrated business model, operating profitability, diversified funding sources and undrawn committed credit facilities as supports for liquidity.
The chief operating officer of Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited, Nzubechukwu Anisiobi, said the ratings validate the company’s financial discipline and operating performance and indicate confidence in its strategy and governance.
The company has expanded its presence in international agricultural commodity markets and increased operational capacity to meet higher working capital needs for sourcing, inventory management and trade finance.
The rating agencies noted their assessments are based on the standalone credit profile of Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited; affiliated entities operate independently on a commercial basis.
Agusto & Co. and Intelligence Africa said the investment-grade ratings should support confidence among financial institutions and trading partners as Sunbeth scales operations and seeks broader market access.
