Nigeria’s Super Falcons will resume camping on Sunday, October 4, in Ikenne, Ogun State, ahead of their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying showdown against Comoros.
The team will camp at the Remo Stars Sports Complex, which will also host both legs of the second-round tie.
The first leg is slated for Friday, October 9, while the reverse fixture is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13.
Although the tie is a home-and-away fixture, both matches will be played at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, with Comoros expected to be the nominal home side for one of the legs.
Nigeria received a bye into the second round as one of the highest-ranked African teams, meaning the Super Falcons did not feature in the first round of the CAF qualifying series.
The winner over the two legs will advance to the third round of the qualifying campaign for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games women’s football tournament.
The Falcons, the most successful women’s team in Africa, will use the Ikenne camp to assess invited home-based and foreign-based players before the technical crew names its squad for the Comoros tie.
With both legs on Nigerian soil, the record African champions will be strong favourites to progress as they bid to secure a place at Los Angeles 2028 after featuring at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
