The Taraba State High Court, has formerly embraced Digital Case Management System, a shift from the manual practice to ease speedy dispensation of Justice.

Justice Joel Filibus Agya, the State Chief, announced the development at the close of a one-day sensitisation workshop on the Enrollment and Onboarding of Taraba State High Court into the Nigerian Case Management System.

The shift from the traditional approach, to a more technology-driven method was aimed at enhancing the quick dispensation of justice, thereby introducing legal mail, e-Filing Application and other administrative processes.

Justice Agya explained that, the transition aligns with national efforts to modernize judicial operations across the federation, saying that “the era of manual case management at the High Courts will soon be history.”

He emphasised that, the digital system would promote transparency, efficiency, and timely delivery of justice.

The chairman of the Judicial Information Technology Policy Committee of Nigeria, Justice Kashim Zannah, who moderated the roundtable discussion, highlighted the numerous benefits of the digital initiative, including improved case tracking, secure communication, and reduced administrative bottlenecks.
