Terrorists Kill 2 Customs Officers, Injure 2 Residents In Kebbi

Suspected terrorists have killed two marine officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and injured two residents on Bagudo Highway in Bagudo local government area of Kebbi State .

Though there was no official statement from the Kebbi State Customs’ Command, a source in the area told journalists under that the incident occurred on Wednesday at the customs’ check point in the area.

The source said the attackers burnt the two officers while they were sleeping in their hut at the checkpoint.

He added that two officers were burnt to death while sleeping in the night at their checkpoint while another two civilians escaped with injuries and were receiving treatment at the hospital.

The assistant public relations officer of Kebbi Customs’ Command, Mubarak Mustapha, confirmed the incident to journalists.
