The Connected Awards Certifies John Ohio 119th Global Tech Hero

John Ohio, the Enterprise Design System Team Lead at SeamlessHR, has been named the 119th Global Tech Hero. He is a contributor to the UX Design community through coaching and volunteering on platforms like ADPList, Utiva, and Friends of Figma.

This prestigious recognition celebrates his outstanding contributions to the tech and design industries. His expertise, innovation, and leadership in the field have been praised by his peers and colleagues, including two Certified Global Tech Heroes, leading to this honor.

With a career spanning roles at prominent companies such as Fetswallets, IBEDC, HighTable Inc., Movo, SettleQuick, Flexcoin, BuzzCo, and TeckLink, John Ohio has built a reputation for his exceptional understanding of user-centric design. His ability to take complex ideas and turn them into practical solutions has set him apart as a leader in the design space. His innovative approach and problem-solving mindset have helped reshape the design systems at SeamlessHR, creating a tokenized, effective and impactful source of truth for the multi-brand, multi-platform organization.

John’s certification as the 11th professional to receive this prestigious award in the Design Category places him among an elite group of past recipients, including Sani Christopher, Babajide Bashiru, Collins Donye, Isaac Sixtus Chizaram, Abdulrahman Aliyu Ayodeji, Matthew Isikhuemen, Praise Diarah, Nmesoma Chukwudi, Effiong Samuel James, and Jeffery Abdulateef-Adoga.

Ogigirigi Tega, another Global Tech Hero, emphasized John’s impact on the design world, saying, “John’s passion for design goes beyond aesthetics.
