Months after talking about founding a new streaming service, real estate magnate, Thony Edouard, has made good his words with the addition of The Plug Network, an entertainment streaming service, to his growing business empire this year.
The Chief Executive Officer since May 2016 of Edouard Equity LLC, a company in Hempstead New York, which he describes as one that “buy fix and sell homes in the Tri-state area, 516-643-5405”, Thony Edouard is, also Président Directeur Général (Chief Executive Officer) of Lakay Cabinet Depot Haiti, a company that “sells the most outstanding bathroom supplies and kitchen supplies in Haiti” since 2015.
Previously Program Coordinator of Trees for the Future, from June 2011 to November 2012 in Silver Spring, Maryland, and once a bookkeeper with 1199 SEIU in New York from July 1999 to January 2008, he has demonstrated that he is a man who is not short of enterprising ideas. He recently started The Plug Network, a new streaming platform, and in a matter of few weeks has successfully muscled his way into a niche dominated by giants Netflix and Amazon.
According to him: “Before the Covid-19 era, I had an idea to start my streaming platform. After many trials, I now have a stable streaming platform called The Plug Network.”
The Plug Network, he avowed, streams original content, ranging from movies to talk shows to documentaries and concerts.
Contrary to some misconception that The Plug Network will cater to Haitian audiences, Thony Edouard avowed that the streaming service is focused on entertaining a global audience.
“Our subscribers base presently extends beyond Haitian communities. The Plug Network has a growin qty
g audience of African Americans, Latinos and White people which negates a ny attempt to describe it as a Haitian streaming service,” he pointed out.
