TEXT: 1 KINGS 18:1
Elijah called the people together and repaired the altar of the Lord which had been broken down. He was not afraid, fretting or worried. He had full assurance in the God of Israel. He put up 12 stones for the altar according to the tribes of Israel, he made a trench round the altar and also arranged wood on it, He then cut the bullock for the sacrifice and arranged them on the altar, all by himself. God will make you a reformer, repairer and revivalist. Amen.
He instructed that the people pour 12 barrels of water on the sacrifice and now prayed earnestly prayed to God to prove His greatness before the people. God answered by sending fire from above upon the altar, and all the people saw it. People will see the miracles, power, and manifestation of God on your life. The people were shouting, the Lord, He is God!
Now, we are waiting and looking for the rain. The rain of miracle, power, refreshing and revival.
- THE PRAYER WITH ASSURANCE. I Kings 18:41
Elijah had not even prayed for the rain yet, but he had assurance that the rain will come. So he told Ahab to go, eat and drink because there is a sound of abundance of rain. Then Ahab believed and knew that Elijah was not his enemy as he had previously thought. So he went up to eat and drink. He believed and obeyed because he had seen the demonstration of the power of God. Ahab will not have a greater faith and understanding of the miracle working power of God than yours.
At the first attempt at looking at the sea, the servant came back to say he saw nothing. You must see something, the windows of heaven are opened. Amen. Elijah told him to go seven times. At the seventh time, there arose a small cloud out of the sea like the size of a man’s hand. That seemingly small miracle will grow and expand in Jesus name. Amen. Elijah sent his servant to tell Ahab to hurry home so that the rain does not catch up with him. And it came to pass, in my life, in your life, in your family, on that child in the hospital, on that neighbour you are concerned about, there was a great rain of miracles. Amen.
James 5:17-18
- 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
- 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Hebrews 10:36-37
“36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Matthew 7:7-8,11
7 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Today,.I pronounce answered and marvellous answers on you. Miracles also upon your life. Amen.
