TheNiche Annual Lecture Holds Today

The third edition of TheNiche Annual lecture will hold today at Agip Recital Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan Lagos.

This was contained in a statement signed by the managing director/editor-in-chief of TheNiche Newspaper Ikechukwu Amaechi which was made available to LEADERSHIP in Abuja yesterday.

The guest speaker at the lecture with the theme: “2023 Elections and Future of Nigeria’s Democracy” is the minister of works and housing and former Lagos State governor and Mr Babatunde Fashola (SAN).

The former liaison officer to President Shehu Shagari and founding member of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, will chair the event.

The discussants at the event include Prof. Victor Chukwuma, a professor of physics, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Fellow of Astronomical Society of Nigeria, poet and public intellectual; the managing director and editor-in-chief of The Guardian, Martins Oloja; a former member of the House of Representatives and former DG, NIMASA, politician, and columnist, Dr Dakuku Peterside.

Others are activist and country director of ActionAid Nigeria, Mrs Ene Obi and INEC national commissioner, chairman, information and voter education committee, Mr Festus Okoye.

The moderator for the event is Pro. Anthony Kila, a columnist, Jean Monnet professor of Strategy and Development, Centre Director CIAPS.
