The Aliyu Bin Abbas Organisation (ABAO) has presented the Action Democratic Party (ADP) presidential candidate, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, to the public in Kano.

Thousands of supporters welcome the development and expresssed optimism that his emergence will lead to the rebirth of a new Nigeria.

In a statement signed on Thursday by the special assistant on Media and Publicity to the ADP presidential candidate, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, he said the event held at the Bristol Palace Hotel, Kano on Wednesday, brought together leaders, celebrities, youth representatives, women, professionals and other Nigerians who share a common vision of restoring “our nation’s greatness through credible leadership, unity, justice and inclusive development.”

The national convener of ABAO, Malam Ali Jita, a popular singer, producer, songwriter, film director, and producer, in his welcome address, informed the gathering that his conviction led him to set up the organisation.

He said that Nigeria deserves a visionary leader and that all patriotic citizens should rally around and support Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas.

The statement quoted Amb Abbas, “Yesterday marked the birth of a movement driven by hope, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to building a New Nigeria.

“The overwhelming support, enthusiasm, and solidarity demonstrated at the event reaffirm that the dream of a prosperous and united Nigeria is alive in the hearts of our people.

“We express our deepest appreciation and profound gratitude to the renowned artist and National Convener, Malam Ali Jita, for his exceptional courage, unwavering commitment, and steadfast belief in our collective quest to birth a New Nigeria,” it said.

The statement added that Jita’s doggedness, boldness, and willingness to lend his voice and influence to this national movement have inspired millions, particularly young Nigerians, to believe once again that a better future is within their reach.
