TIA 2024: IMBIL Named Telecom Support Solutions Company Of The Year

Telecom solutions provider, IMBIL was awarded the title of Telecom Support Solutions Company of the Year at the prestigious Tech Innovation Awards (TIA) 2024, held in Lagos over the weekend.

In a significant achievement for the company, its CEO, Mr. Akeem Ogunkoya, was also recognized as the Telecom Personality of the Year, highlighting IMBIL’s substantial contributions to the telecom sector.

Ogunkoya expressed gratitude for the accolades, stating that they reflect the company’s dedication to leveraging digital transformation to foster innovation within the Nigerian telecom industry.

“We are truly honored to have been recognized at the 2024 Tech Innovation Awards. Winning Telecom Support Solutions Company of the Year is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire IMBIL team. Regarding his personal recognition, Ogunkoya commented, “Being named Telecom Personality of the Year is deeply humbling. During the awards ceremony, the CEO of Instinctwave, and the organizers of TIA, Mr. Akin Naphtal, emphasized that the awards are merit-based, celebrating those who deliver tangible results and transformative solutions. “These accolades go beyond recognition; they serve as a call to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, driving change not just in technology but in the broader economic framework,” he stated.

 

The event gathered key figures from the technology, business, and innovation sectors, all united under the theme “Celebrating Excellence in Digital Innovations.”

 

The night honored individuals and organizations that have shown resilience and success amid an unpredictable economic landscape. Other notable winners at the TIA 2024 awards included MTN Foundation, recognized for its impactful education and skill development initiatives; Zoracom, named Auxiliary Telecom Infrastructure Support Provider of the Year; and Zoho One, awarded Best Unified Cloud Software Product of the Year.
