Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has raised the alarm over an online phone vendor whom he accused of collecting money from him for an iPhone 17 meant for his wife but failing to deliver the device four months later.

Dakolo made the allegation in a post on his social media page, urging members of the public to share his warning to prevent others from allegedly falling victim.

According to the singer, he paid the Canada-based vendor for the phone four months ago, but he neither received the device nor got his money back.

Dakolo said the vendor repeatedly gave him different explanations for the delay, including telling him that the phone was already on its way and that the delivery company would contact him.

He also alleged that the vendor later claimed the phone had been sent to London, where Dakolo’s wife lived.

The singer expressed frustration at the prolonged delay and said the vendor had continued to advertise the latest iPhone model online despite the unresolved transaction.

Dakolo subsequently warned his followers to be cautious about doing business with the vendor or purchasing any of the products advertised on his social media pages.

He also said the vendor’s location in Canada had made it difficult for him to reach him directly.

Dakolo disclosed that he had since bought his wife another phone, but decided to speak out to warn other potential customers.
