Tinubu Approves Appointment Of Mandate Secretaries For FCTA

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mandate Secretaries for the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

LEADERSHIP reports that Barr. Nyesom Wike and Dr. Mariya Abdullahi Bunkure were earlier appointed as Minister of FCT and Minister of State for FCT, respectively.

In a statement signed by the director of Press, Ministry of FCT, Anthony Ogunleye, the appointees are Mr. Bitrus L. Garki as the Secretary of the Area Council Services Secretariat; Lawan Kolo Geidam as Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat; Mr. Danlami Ihayyo as Secretary of Education.

Others are Dr. Adedolapo A. Fasawe as Secretary of the Health and Human Services Secretariat; Barrister Salman Dako as Secretary of Legal Services Secretariat; Barrister Chinedum Elechi as Secretary, Economic Planning, Revenue Generation and PPP; Arc. Uboku Tom Nyah as Secretary of the Transportation Secretariat, and Alhaji Muntari Abdulkadir as the Secretary of the Social Development Secretariat.

The swearing-in of the Mandate Secretaries will take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the International Conference Center, Abuja at noon prompt.
