The President, who arrived through the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, was received by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio; Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; and Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.

Tinubu had departed Nigeria for France on September 4, 2025, to observe part of his annual holiday. He was initially scheduled to split the period between France and the United Kingdom.
