Tinubu Congratulates Sununu On Traditional Title

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Tanko Yusuf Sununu, on his conferment with the traditional title of Danmadin Yauri by the Emir of Yauri in Kebbi State, His Royal Highness, Dr Muhammed Zayyanu Abdullahi.

President Tinubu in a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga applauded the Emir of Yauri for recognising Dr Sununu’s qualities and contributions as a vital member of the Renewed Hope administration’s cabinet and his significant efforts to enhance the humanitarian sector in Nigeria.

The president expressed confidence that this recognition from his community would further inspire the minister to continue his dedicated service for the advancement and well-being of the nation.
Before he was appointed minister, Dr. Sununu served as a member of the House of Representatives, representing Yauri.
