The chief executive officer of a Real Estate Firm – First Rotech Group of Companies Ltd, High Chief Chukwudi Oguejiofor Mmuonanu has said that President Bola Tinubu deserves the supports of Igbos to record greater success.
He stated this when he was decorated with the prestigious title of the Grand Patron of Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide.
High Chief Oguejiofor also commended the president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide – Chief (Engr) Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu for his doggedness, genuine efforts towards unification, stability and development in Ala-Igbo and Nigeria at large.
He urged Ndigbo to support the administration of President Tinubu for the all-round development of Nigeria, especially as it concerns South East.
The investiture which took place at Abuja residence of the philanthropist and business mogul was heralded with presentation of letter of nomination, certificate of recognition and an award of gratitude and motivation for his unreserved devotion, commitment and uncommon contribution towards youth development and a better society.
The event was witnessed by his wife, Chief Mrs Chika Oguejiofor; the national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) – Sly Ezeokenwa; Chief Sir Kanayo Okoye (KSJI) – Igwe-Elect Umuoji, among other notable personalities.
While appreciating the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide for finding him worthy for the Honour, he said “I wholeheartedly accept the tasks and responsibilities as the Grand Patron of Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide, and I hereby call on Ndigbo to supper to the laudable agenda of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide ably led by Chief Iwuanyanwu. He is our father and the indisputable leader of Ndigbo Worldwide.
“This is the beginning of a new dawn for Ndigbo, and as the epitome of the rising Sun, we will support President Bola Tinubu to succeed. As a people, we must eschew bitterness and embrace peace and unity.
“The future of Ala-Igbo currently lies on shoulders of the youth; and unfortunately, a significant population of Igbo Youths are scattered all over the world, and most of them no longer speak Igbo. Our cherished language is facing an existential Threat; but we must not let this to continue because, our language is our Identity. The time has come for every Igbo man to fold his/her sleeves and get all hands on deck for the task ahead.”
