In a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the deceased as an upright judicial officer, a patriotic Nigerian and a fearless jurist who spent his life contributing to the strengthening of Nigeria’s judicial system.

The President prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed retired justice and for Allah to give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Tinubu also extended his commiseration to the government and people of Katsina State, as well as the Dodo family.
