In a move to enhance governance and public service efficiency, President Bola Tinubu, has approved the appointment of four new permanent secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.
This was made known in a statement signed by the director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs Eno Olotu,
on behalf of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
She stated that the appointments underscored the administration’s commitment to reinforcing the civil service with seasoned professionals capable of driving the nation’s development agenda forward.
The newly – appointed permanent secretaries are Warrens Bekearedebo Augusta from Bayelsa State, Jones-Nebo Nkiruka Bella from Enugu State, Aminu Sani Yargaya from Kano State and Shoretire Ayinda Kamil from Ogun State
According to the statement, the appointments followed a rigorous and transparent selection process, reflecting President Tinubu’s emphasis on meritocracy, excellence, and professionalism within the civil service.
The head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack hailed the appointments as a testament to the President’s unwavering dedication to entrenching transparency and competence in public service.
Walson-Jack noted that the new appointees bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, which will significantly bolster the delivery of public services across the nation.
“These appointments reflect the administration’s dedication to fostering a competent and results-oriented Public Service that meets the needs of Nigerians,” she stated.
The newly – appointed permanent secretaries are expected to assume their duties immediately, contributing to key sectors aligned with the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
