Tinubu Names Portfolios For 5 New NCDC Executive Directors

President Bola Tinubu has approved portfolios for five Executive Directors on the Board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) to strengthen the Commission’s capacity to deliver on its statutory mandate.

A statement on Monday by the Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, listed the appointees and their new roles.

According to the release, Hajia Biliquis Jumoke Sanni will oversee Administration and Human Resources, while Aisha Rufai Ibrahim was assigned to head Commercial and Industrial Development.

James Abel Uloko takes charge of Corporate Services, Professor Muhammad Bashar was named Executive Director of Finance while Princess Atika Ajanah will be in charge of Projects.

Tinubu charged the directors to work closely with the Governing Board of the NCDC in promoting and coordinating the sustainable development of the North-Central geopolitical zone.

The NCDC, established to drive rehabilitation and development efforts across the North Central region, has been at the centre of government initiatives to address the challenges of infrastructure deficit, insecurity, and economic imbalance in the area.
