One of the spokespersons for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation in 2023 elections, Daniel Bwala, has said that President Bola Tinubu has demonstrated his passion to lead Nigeria out of the woods.
Bwala, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made this known in a post he shared on his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Monday evening after a visit to the President in Paris, France.
LEADERSHIP reports that Bwala had a few days ago earlier visited Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, after which he hinted at his possible defection to his former political party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bwala’s first visit to Tinubu and his subsequent interview with State House correspondents had elicited debates on the social media about his politics of inconsistency or lack of ideology given his vocal opposition to the emergence of Tinubu as Nigeria’s President in the last election.
While revealing his latest visit to Tinubu, who is on a private visit to France, Bwala claimed that the President has continued to share his thoughts and demonstrated his passion to lead Nigeria out of the woods.
He wrote, “It was a pleasure to meet with the father of the nation #officialABAT President Bola Tinubu in Paris today.
“He continues to share his thoughts and demonstrate his passion to lead Nigeria out of the woods.”
