Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the 2023 general election, Ahmed Bola Tinubu has promised that his presidency will revolutionise gas exploration and industrial sector of Anambra State.

He also assured that the state under his administration will experience massive job creation, fierce  fight against hunger, and ecological disaster in the state.

Tinubu who addressed hundreds of APC members and supporters during his presidential campaign at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, accompanied by his running-mate, Borno State governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima urged the people of the state to vote for his presidency stating that it is the turn of Southern Nigeria to produce the next president of the country.

Paying tribute to the late senate president, and indigene of Anambra, Chuba Okadigbo who he described as a renowned progressive, Tinubu assured that his joint ticket with Shettima represents progressive force in the country and promised that Tinubu/Shettima presidency will sustain the late Chuba Okadigbo’s leadership ideology.

Tinubu accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), presidential candidate and former vice-president Atiku Abubakar of claiming that he (Atiku) is a “sole presidential candidate of the North” and warned that Atiku by making such claim is creating division in the country.

He also warned Nigerians against Atiku presidency accusing him of selling the nation’s common patrimony when he was vice-president under the privatisation programme, alleging that Atiku actually sold the assets to himself and his cronies.

Tinubu praised the Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo as a man of profound vision, and brilliant man, and promised that he will work with him (Soludo) if he becomes president.

“So, the way you voted for Soludo, you will vote for Bola Tinubu, the Lagos Boy”, Tinubu urged.

Still attacking Atiku, Tinubu described the PDP presidential candidate as a “liar” and the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi as one who can easily “disappoint.”
