President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reappointed for another four-year term, Dr Chioma Ejikeme as the executive secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD).

Dr Ejikeme’s reappointment took effect from Tuesday October 10th, 2023, according to a tweet on verified X account of the pension agency on Thursday.

Ejikeme had handed over management of PTAD to the director, civil service pension department at the PTAD Mr. Sulayman Shelleng in September at the expiration of her first term in office. She was first appointed into the position by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

She is now back on the saddle with a responsibility to promote prompt payment of pension to retirees under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).
