Dr Ejikeme’s reappointment took effect from Tuesday, October 10, 2023, according to a tweet on the verified X account of the pension agency on Thursday.

Recall that Ejikeme had handed over the management of PTAD to the director, civil service pension department of the Directorate, Mr. Sulayman Shelleng, in September, at the expiration of her first term in office. She was first appointed into the position by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

She is now back on the saddle with a responsibility to promote prompt payment of pension to retirees under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).
