President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has secured commitments from French billionaire Vincent Bolloré and executives of the Bolloré Group to expand investments across Nigeria’s entertainment, media, and digital sectors following high-level talks in Paris.
The meeting took place on Friday, September 18, 2026, during the President’s working visit to France.
During the session, the Bolloré Group—which holds major global media stakes including Canal+, MultiChoice, and Universal Music Group confirmed plans to deepen its operations in Nigeria, describing the nation as the driving force behind Africa’s cultural growth.
President Tinubu urged the international conglomerate to anchor more production processes in Nigeria, emphasising that the global commercial success of Nigerian talent must create direct employment and localised business opportunities for the youth.
