Tinubu Will Heal Civil War Wounds–Obetta

The member representing Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South federal constituency of Enugu State, Hon. Chidi Mark Obetta, has expressed optimism that President Bola Tinubu administration would heal the wounds of the civil war in the South East region.

In a statement made available to LEADERSHIP Weekend he praised Tinubu for signing into law the South Development Commission Bill.

He expressed hope that with the bill would mark a practical implementation of the 3Rs declared by the then military Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, after the war.

He described the bill as a landmark move that promises to revolutionise the socio-economic landscape of the South East region.

“The South East Development Commission is a testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive governance and regional development.
