‘Tinubu Working To Transform Education Sector’

The chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, in Yobe State, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has said the country’s education sector would have massive transformation under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement by the director, media affairs, Mr. Ibrahim Isah made available to journalists in Lafia, Nasarawa State, Mr. Balarabe Abdullahi said the transformation would involve all tiers of education.

According to the statement, Mr. Balarabe Abdullahi who was a speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly stated this when he led council members and principal officers of the institution to visit the Yobe State deputy governor, Idris Barde Gubana in Damaturu.

The statement quoted him as saying that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda had a tentative blueprint for a holistic restructuring of the education sector.

It said the federal and the Yobe  State governments had agreed to synergise and enhance the falling standard of education in the state.

It reiterated the commitment of the governing council to repositioning the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu towards achieving its mandate.

“The chairman of the Governing Council appreciated the state government for the reception accorded the members, while also commending the administration the developmental strides across in the state,” it said.

It noted that Balarabe Abdullahi and his team also visited the Emir of Damaturu, Alh Dr Shehu Hashimi 11 Ibn  Umar Al amin Elkanemi and met with other critical stakeholders as well as heads of security agencies in the state.
