Senior special assistant to the president on community engagement (North East), Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba, has inaugurated an eye medical outreach at the Bauchi State Central Mosque.
Abba said the initiative was designed to assist the less privileged and vulnerable in the community suffering from different eye-related ailments.
He said, “The collaboration underscores a commitment to community welfare, emphasising the importance of addressing health challenges faced by the community.
“The primary objective of the program is to address the eye health concerns of the less privileged within the community. This event which runs from the 13th to the 20th of January, 2024, underscores the commitment of Hon. Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu led-administration, to improving the health and well-being of the good people of Bauchi State, and the Northeast region in general.
„This outreach serves as a beacon of hope for those in need, showcasing the collective dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of community members.
„We applaud the office of the SSA and contributors for their selfless commitment to fostering a healthier and more vibrant community.“
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries applauded the Office of the SSA and his team for bringing the programme into existence, they prayed for the progress and well-being of the SSA on Community Engagement (North East).
The memorable event, which was marked as a significant milestone, was graced by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi, represented by Lifidin Bauchi, among several other dignitaries.
