A leading support group of the ruling party, APC Grassroots Governance Group, APC G3 on Tuesday said politicians across different parties are moving to the APC because President Bola Tinubu is building a pan Nigeria that gives access to everyone irrespective of tribe and religion.

The group said politicians defecting to the APC have also discovered that Tinubu is boldly confronting the fundamental problems bedevilling the country for long.

The press release, signed by APC G3 national coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema, said the proponents of coalition should rather blame their leaders and not the ruling party for the defections.

According to him, “Politicians are defecting to APC because they have seen that in President Bola Tinubu, every Nigerian is been given access.

“Those defecting to the ruling party know that the leaders of the so called coalition are being selfish and are only out to protect long standing hegemony.

Their interest is not for every Nigerian.

“The people of the North and South have commonly agreed that we are all stakeholders in the Nigerian project, hence we must support each other to succeed in office.

“In President Tinubu, every Nigerian see hope that. They see boldness in tackling our common problems.

“Those coming to the ruling party believe that coming to APC will give them more opportunity to support the laudable transformative programmes of the present regime.

“Rebuilding Nigeria from the foundations which President Tinubu is doing may seem annoying to the coalition leaders hence their desperation to unsuccessfully gather ignorant persons for a failed mission,” the APC G3 added.
