Tinubu’s Re-election Personal Project For Kogi People – Gov Ododo

Kogi State governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his resounding victory at the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the outcome as a strong endorsement of the president’s visionary leadership and growing national acceptance.

Governor Ododo said the overwhelming support received by Tinubu at the primary election reflects the confidence of party members and Nigerians in his courageous leadership, reform-driven administration, and commitment to national development.

In a statement issued yesterday by the state commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr Kingsley Fanwo, the governor declared that Tinubu’s reelection has become a “personal project” for the people of Kogi State because of the administration’s strategic support for the state’s development aspirations.

According to the governor, President Tinubu has demonstrated uncommon commitment to Kogi State through landmark approvals and interventions capable of transforming the economic fortunes of the state.

“The Governor sees Mr. President’s reelection as a personal project to unlock the enormous potential of Kogi State. Mr. President has granted approvals for the establishment of an airport, a Free Trade Zone, an Agricultural Processing Zone, and several other transformational projects,” the statement noted.

Governor Ododo stressed that the people of Kogi State would continue to stand firmly behind the President in appreciation of his support for the state and his determination to reposition Nigeria for greatness.

“For us in Kogi State, the reelection of Mr. President is a reward for his love for the state and for the greatness of our nation. His economic reforms are reshaping our nation and laying the foundation for long-term prosperity,” the governor stated.

He commended President Tinubu for pursuing bold economic reforms despite prevailing challenges, noting that history would be kind to leaders who make difficult decisions for the future stability and prosperity of their nations.

Governor Ododo assured the president of the total support of the government and people of Kogi State ahead of the 2027 general elections, reaffirming the state’s commitment to the ideals of progressive governance, economic transformation, and national unity championed by the president.

The governor also praised President Tinubu for subjecting himself to the democratic process despite being the national leader of the party, saying the gesture has further endeared him to Nigerians.
