He said the support given by the Tinubu-led administration to subnational development, and strategic backing of state-led initiatives has transformed the entire nation.

Aluko, who is the chairman of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji/ Monisade Christianah Afuye Statewide Endorsement Committee spoke yesterday in Ado Ekiti, during a press briefing held ahead of the statewide endorsement programme  scheduled to hold on Monday, July 28, 2025 at the Ekiti Parapo Pavillion, Ado-Ekiti.

He also commended the stewardship of governor Oyebanji, saying the occasion will afford Ekiti people to celebrate the sterling achievements of the  President and the governor.

Speaking on why the event was conceived, the PBAT, BAO/MCA statewide endorsement committee Chair  said,”It is not just an endorsement but a people-driven affirmation of the transformative leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji.

“It is a confirmation of the series of endorsements cutting across all strata and a unification of the wish of Ekiti people and beyond to unite behind a common vision for continued progress.

“It is therefore a defining moment in our political journey, a moment to reaffirm our commitment, express our gratitude, and showcase the enduring partnership between leadership and the people.”

He said the gathering is about  unity and purpose to acknowledge the exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication of President Tinubu to the progress of Nigeria and the upliftment of all federating states, particularly Ekiti State.

“Under his Renewed Hope Agenda, we have witnessed bold economic reforms, renewed energy in infrastructural development, decentralization of power, and robust infrastructural development and an intentional drive toward inclusion and innovation.

“Ekiti State has directly benefited from the visionary contributions in areas including youth empowerment and entrepreneurship schemes, agricultural empowerment programmes, digital economy growth, and national security providing a solid foundation for sustainable progress and it is only fitting that this programme provides an opportunity to express our collective endorsement and appreciation”.

Speaking on the achievement of Governor Oyebanji, he said in less than three years, he has demonstrated uncommon focus, humility, and effectiveness in governance.

Also speaking, committee secretary, Hon. Dapo Karounwi, and his media committee counterpart, Rt. Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun, dismissed the insinuation that the event will run foul of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) time table for the commencement of 2026 governorship election campaigns.

They added that various interest groups with about 30,000 members being expected to attend the event  are the organisers of the event and not the APC.
