The Confederation of All APC Support Groups, representing APC supporters from the South South region, made this recommendation in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP.

According to the statement, the deputy director general of the Confederation, Hon. Joseph Mike Akpan, said Prof. Mohammed made contributions to the party and the president’s recent electoral victory.

“Prof. Kailani Mohammed played a vital role during and after the 2023 Presidential election,” Akpan stated.

“He used his personal resources to mobilise all APC support groups across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, ensuring President Tinubu’s victory.”

Akpan emphasised Mohammed’s credentials, describing him as a philanthropist who has assisted numerous Nigerians regardless of their region, religion, or ethnic background.

He also noted Mohammed’s efforts in establishing the Tinubu/Shettima Network Secretariat in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The group praised Mohammed’s character and dedication to the party, citing his consistent support since the APC’s inception.

They believe his appointment would be beneficial to Nigerians and help restore confidence in the government.

“Prof. Kailani Mohammed is hardworking, honest, respectful, loyal, and resilient,” Akpan added.

“His appointment would be one of the best things to happen to Nigerians, as it will restore hope to the hopeless.”

The Confederation expressed confidence that Prof. Mohammed would excel in any capacity if given the opportunity to serve in the government.
