Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Manchester United to take goalkeeper André Onana on loan. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed on his X handle yesterday.
According to Romano, the agreement has been established at the club-to-club level, with the final call now resting solely with Onana himself. The 27-year-old shot-stopper faces an important decision regarding his future as he considers the move to the Turkish Super Lig side.
This potential transfer follows a summer during which Onana has been a key figure for Manchester United, but with the club looking to strengthen their squad depth, a loan deal could provide an opportunity for the player to gain valuable experience and game time elsewhere.
As the situation develops, keen eyes will be on Onana’s response to the offer, which could pave the way for a new chapter in his career.
