TRACE In The City Talent Winner, Dare Gets Free Recording, Car Prize

In its quest to develop and project upcoming acts and contributes its quota to realising the next big stars in the entertainment industry, the overall winner from The Trace In the City Talent Hunt 2023 winner, Alao Dare,  has been handed his car prize award of a Suzuki S-PRESSO automobile by TRACE.

Dare who is referred to as Micy D emerged after TRACE TV stormed seven cities and seven university campuses across Nigeria.

Aside the car prize from Suzuki, Micy D secured a free recording session with Grammy-Award-winning producer, Kel-P, and an all-expense paid music video production and distribution package with TRACE.

Speaking during the press conference cum award presentation for the “TRACE In The City Talent Hunt 2023 Winner “at the corporate office of Suzuki in Victoria Island in Lagos,

managing director of TRACE Anglophone West Africa, Sam Onyemelukwe , stated that the drive for the talent hunt contest was born out of the fact that talent abounds in the the various tertiary institutions.

CFAO Suzuki GM, Madam Aissatou Diouf reaffirmed the company’s commitment to adding value through its collaboration with the TRACE management team.

She said, “ I remember, this is what I was pitching, we were sitting somewhere, we decided to set out, let’s go for it. And I’m so glad that the project was able to be done. It was really fun, we were getting a lot of feedback about that. So thanks to TRACE, for the collaboration, merci beaucoup,and congratulations to the winner”

 

The winner, Alao Dare known as Micy D, is an Agricultural Science graduate from the University of Abuja. He gleefully expressed his readiness to move his career to the next height and noted that he will be making great strides in the Nigerian music scene.

 

 

Speaking further Trace In the City’s official Disc Jockey, DJ Neptune alludes that this is a great motivation for the winner to kick start his musical journey.

 

 

The 2023 city tour marked an achievement as the third year running programme for Trace’s campus tour invasion. The edition which saw the show go to cities like Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Uyo, Akure, Ibadan, Abuja and Lagos created the perfect environment .
